Elections will be held for the Board of Directors.
Come out and support your discipline whether it be Hunter Jumper,
Western Performance, Games /Gymkhana or Cow Horse Sports. Everyone Welcome.
NVIHA meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each
month, January to November, at the Comox Valley Therapeutic Riding
Lounge, at the Comox Valley Fairgrounds on Headquarters Road,
Courtenay. Everyone is welcome.
All NVIHA members MUST be members in good standing of
Horse Council B.C.
in order to ride at any NVIHA events. All shows are open to all breeds and are held at the Comox Valley Exhibition grounds

Western Performance Shows are open to all breed and levels
of rider expertise. We offer classes in Showmanship, Horsemanship,
Western Pleasure, Trail, Riding and Reining in the following
categories: Green Horse, Green Handler, Walk-Jog, Peewee
(9 and under), Youth 10-13, Youth 14-18, Senior, together
with Longe line classes, Halter and Open.
All competitors
are welcome. In order for points to be accumulated toward
NVIHA Year End Awards membership in NVIHA and HCBC is
required at the start of the first Western Performance
Show of the Season, however you do not have to be a member
of NVIHA to compete and all are welcome.The Western Performance
Show Committee meetings are the second Monday of the month.
